Even after your miracle arrives, we will still be there for you to offer postpartum care for both you and your newborn, in the comfort of your home. At each prenatal visit, our New Jersey midwives will take the time necessary to assess the health of you and your baby. But an even more critical part of our role in monitoring your pregnancy is to provide you with the support and education that will help keep your pregnancy low risk. Unlike many traditional clinics, you will receive high-quality individualized care from our Licensed Midwives and their caring and dedicated assistants will help transition you from mother-to-be to mother and child in the safest, most soul-satisfying way possible.
Doula Services: If you opt for a hospital birth, you can benefit from our doula services. A doula is a professional care provider who understands the process of birth in all its beauty and complexity. Recognizing that birth is a special experience for the family as a whole, a doula can offer individual physical and emotional care, not only to the laboring mother, but to her partner as well. Women who opt to use a doula during their birth often show a reduced need for pitocin and forceps, reduced usage of pain medications and a reduction in caesarean section rates.
